The mentioned newspaper article with specialist Dr. Thomas Herring and Reinhold Messner I feel as if the TZ rally support for the "total ban" on 4 July do. Struck me as a lay is that the article is written very one-sided and partly untrue.
My doubts:
1) 90% of smokers want to stop with smoking as they feel dependent and unhappy. The fact is that these people largely feel very comfortable and at most perhaps a good opportunity to stop smoking would.
2) The fact that only 3 to 5% have stopped smoking with sheer willpower. The truth is that I know many friends who have stopped smoking, but I know of only one former smoker who had to rely on medical help. Want to earn with this problem, the pharmaceutical industry, perhaps a fortune?
